I had a VM on an iSCSI volume. I moved it to a local volume using Storage vMotion. Now if I look on the old iSCSI volume I still see the folder for that VM and it contains just VMDK files.
I'm a little confused since the new datastore definitely shows the as being there (and the VM definition points to the new datastore).
The filenames on the old datastore are vmname.vmdk and vmname-000002.vmdk and vmname-000004.vmdk - there are no snapshots showing.
Any ideas welcome.
