Yea, I guess see if a VM licensing person responds but it is interesting that it doesn't stop the vms from being created if you exceed the max number.
I read that to say you can install the vcenter, vsecurity and vconnect servers on the same esxi host as the desktops but what I don't understand is does that mean when someone connects to a desktop and goes through the vsecurity and vconnect servers each one of those servers has a connection? Which means if all 10 desktops are being used that would be 12+ connections and would exceed the max 10 licenses you have?
Not sure about the AD server. I guess technically it is "supporting" the virtual environment because it is required to run a vdi solution.
