Write-Behind functionality

Hi,

We are using Gemfire 6.6.3.4. I wanted to know if there are any smarts built into Gemfire to counter a situation where the data source is down for some time. In such a situation, will Gemfire retry over and over again until it gets success or can we somehow configure it to stagger the retry process?
