Hi all,
I have an issue with regards passing through a 1Tb Western Digital USB3 device to a 2008 R2 VM
The 2008 r2 VM is on a standalone host using Essentials licensing
I have had the usb device working within the the guest VM but two weeks a go it disappeared from the VM. I asked the customer to physically disconnect and then reconnect device to the ESXi5.1 server (DL380 G8)
I could then reconnect the USB device successfully
This has happened a second time and asking the customer to do the same has not worked
Has anyone else had similar problems, could recommend a solution?
I have tried removing/adding the USB Controller
