VLANs supported for MSCS cluster network?

I am setting up an MSCSbetween two vSpherehosts.  We are using VLANs with dvSwitches.   The VMware MSCSbest practice guide states:

"Two physical network adapters dedicated to theMSCScluster and to the public andprivatenetworks"

Is it supported and acceptable to use dedicatedVLANs for theMSCScluster network?
